CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES SPRING 2012

SPECIAL CHILDREN"S MINISTRY EVENT: Sunday, May 6th in both 9 and 11 am services! Calling all children ages 3-12 years!! 

For the girls, come dressed in your loveliest princess gowns for our "Precious Princess Tea Party" as we celebrate God's love for us as His precious princesses!  For the guys, arrive in your most swashbuckling pirate attire for a "Pirate Treasure Adventure" as we uncover hidden loot in the treasury of God's word!

May Children's Ministry Focus: FRESH FRUIT!

"A Spirit-filled life is a joy-filled life. We want to teach kids about the fruit of the Spirit, where they come from, and why they are so important. We want them to see what a fruit-filled life looks like. During the month of May, we will help kids learn how to keep their eyes fixed on God and what God wants our lives, as Christ followers, to look like. They will know and understand that with the Holy Spirit's work in us, our lives will produce fresh fruit - the Fruit of the Spirit."

June Children's MInistry Focus: How it Works...The Bible

We began this school year learning the Books of the Bible and how important God's word is in our lives. This month we'll come full circle as we return to learn about how to navigate and use the Bible to grow spiritually. We'll discuss how to put scripture to work in our lives and inspire kids to memorize it. We'll take a look back at the verses we have learned this year - get ready for a MIND BOGGLING BIBLE VERSE CHALLENGE on Sunday, June 10th! Can you remember all our Bible Challenge verses from the 2011/2012 School year...check out the entire list from the 'Just For Kids' area of our website and we'll find out!!
