First Assembly’s Student Ministries (Area 403) is designed with today’s youth as its sole focus. Students will be exposed to and experience God’s incredible love for them in a way that is real, relevant, relaxed and relational. We are geared towards creating a unique and comfortable environment for every young person who attends.

For our Students we offer a few meetings each week; Friday Night Events, Wednesday Night Sr.High Leadership Classes and our Sunday morning ‘Youth Church’. These events take place every week starting in September and run through to the end of the school year.

On Fridays the scheduling is as follows; there will be a four or five week rotation (depending on how many Fridays there are in a month). This will include two weeks of outside church activity “live wire”, one or two weeks of “small group” format, and one week in ‘the loft’ for a unique time worship and teaching “the mix”. Unless otherwise noted, we try beginning at 7:00pm sharp and ending around 9:30pm.

On Friday’s we also have our ‘Youth Music Workshops.’ This is an opportunity for students in Grades 7-12 to discover and learn the art of music and worship. We have separate workshops for drums, bass, electric & acoustic guitar, piano and vocals. If you have been playing for 10 years or would just like to be introduced to an instrument, come and check out our classes. 5:30 - 6:30pm on Friday Nights.

Wednesday Nights is a smaller gathering that meets in the ‘youth lounge’. Our youth leaders oversee the night's activities each week. If you enjoy playing board games or you love to try out the newest video games, Wednesday is the place for you. ‘Game Zone’ begins at 7pm and wraps up around 8:30pm.

Youth Church is every Sunday morning at 11am upstairs in the Youth Loft.

We are excited about this next season and look forward to the challenges and development ahead.
