Project 365 - currently at 182 sponsorships! First Assembly's goal for 2008 is "One day - One Life changed" As a church community, we would loke to see 365 children sponsored. One child's life changed for every day! Sponsorship focuses on helping those most vulnerable members of society - children. It provides opportunities that are simply not available to most of the world's poorest children, such as schooling, health care, social benefits and Christian discipleship. China August 2008 Be a part of the Champions International Youth Camp. Volunteers from all over the world, as well and local Chinese volunteers and youth campers, will join together to stage a World Festival Event in the Olympic host city, Beijing. This festival will be a 3-day event with appearances from athletes, celebrities, performers, and various artists. Situated in a park setting, volunteers and youth campers will work together to coordinate and stage performances and programs in Kids' Zones, Teens' Zones and Sport Zones as well as on the main stage. Whether it's performing, running a program, or working behind the scenes, the World Festival will provide a rich and diverse display of culture, arts and interactive program giving people a once in a life time opportunity to be a part of a truly international celebration. The International Camp will also include training for campers in areas such as leadership, music, drama, and English language. This will give international volunteers an opportunity to use their areas of interest to invest in the lives of youth in China. GOT Opportunities
We are committed to equipping and releasing the people of First Assembly to worldwide projects. Short-term missions can be an exciting adventure both spiritually and physically. Team opportunities can include contstruction, working with children, supporting missionaries, caring for the sick, and spreading the gospel message. Keep checking this page for current opportunities.
GOT Resource
Our missions program supports front-line workers in Northern Africa, Europe, Middle East, Mali, Malawi, South Africa, and even here in Calgary. Projects include planting churches in Eastern Europe, supporting national pastors in Africa, and translating the Bible for an unreached people group. Your family can be a part of this global impact by giving $25/month to missions. Your $25 can give hope to nations.

Every GOT Missions Sunday, we bring a new culinary treat from around the world to the First Assembly family. We are dedicated to expanding your taste buds! Be a part of our GOT food team by helping with meal planning, cooking and serving. Make sure you come on out and sample our culinary treats.
GOT Prayer
Your prayer can change nations without you ever having set foot there. Prayer causes shifts in the spiritual world. Missionaries are strengthened by your prayers ... GOT Heart
Our missionary families are dedicated and hard-working. It's easy for them to feel isolated and far away from friends and family. We are looking for a compassionate heart who will make sure birthday cards, sermon cd's, and encouragement is sent overseas regularly.
