Partnering with First Assembly Financially

Scripture encourages us to give a portion of our earnings to the work of the kingdom as recognition of our love for the Lord. The local ministry at First Assembly Church needs your financial partnership. As you give to the Lord, it provides finances to operate our building and provide ministry to those who attend and supports the various mission and benevolence endeavors the congregation has chosen to be involved with locally and worldwide.

We agree with scripture regarding your life that “May you prosper as you are generous with what God has given you to steward.”

The various ways you can give:

• Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
• Cheque
• Cash
• Preset Automatic Withdrawl

There is a bank machine at the Reception desk to make your donations with debit. The giving envelopes are in the benches in the sanctuary are designed for you to be able to make a credit card donation.

If you give a consistent amount on a repetitive basis you can make your giving even easier through signing up on a preset automatic withdrawal from your bank account or having it automatically charged to your credit card on a bi-weekly basis. To use this service please fill out the giving card with this request and hand it in with the offering or leave it at the church reception.

Please print clearly your full name and address on all your giving envelopes indicating how you are giving and the amount and sign if giving by credit card. We no longer use a number system on our envelopes and in our accounting procedures. 2005 will be the last year we recognize “giving numbers” that have been handed out in previous years.

Anonymity in Giving: Great care is taken in keeping your giving and giving records a private manner.

Note Regarding Cash Gifts: A decision was made by governing council, “assuming due diligence in accounting, the records of the church would be final regarding cash gifts.”
